Editions Collection of Olives and Oil
It was never our intention to offer anything but foods we revived
from recipes of the past. Recipes and variations that our family
used in their daily life. This all changed when we recently visited
Portugal and saw for the first time the olive groves that flourish
in the countryside. What we found was the new European edge of olive
production. We challenged an old friend who lives in Portugal to
identify the olives used daily in Portuguese homes (the mix of these
assorted olives are known as Country Style Olives), and track down
the producers of the finest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Then
we contracted with the very best of the new cutting edge Portuguese
processing facilities. We are the first to bring the production
of these special olive groves to this country.
