Legend Regional Barbecue Sauce
The High Country Barbecue Sauce
Rich & Bold
Our newest barbecue sauce is an authentic Carolina mustard / vinegar sauce that is ideal for chicken and pork with just the right amount of zest.
Excellent for pulled pork sandwiches served on a grilled or toasted bun. A wonderful marinade as well. While our High Country Barbecue Sauce is a great companion with pork, it can be used superbly with chicken.
We offer Legend Regional High Country Barbecue Sauce in our Signature 18 oz size bottle.
This hardy sauce works so well that it is:
- Makes a terrific pulled pork sandwich either on a grilled or toasted bun.
- Use as a marinade or cooking sauce for pork chops.
- Combine with a small amount of sour cream for dipping cocktail weiners, meat sticks, or jerky.
- Chop 6 or 7 strips of crisp cooked bacon. In a skillet, brown 6 cooked potatoes that have been cut into cubes. Add the bacon and then add the bbq sauce to taste with some salt & pepper.
- Brown 1/2 pound of finely diced salt pork. Stir 1/2 cup of bbq sauce into 3 cups of shredded cabbage with 1 large pared and grated apple. Then top with the salt pork.
