Chocolate Overture
Deep, rich, velvety double chocolate
Far and away our best selling topping. It is a true chocolate lover’s chocolate and is so rich and thick it’s been referred to by one customer as "ganache in a jar." Use it to make your own chocolate truffles or ice a cake.
Try some of these other ideas for use with Chocolate Overture.
- Use in your favorite mousse or frappe recipe.
- For chocolate truffles, whip butter and powdered sugar together and then add Chocolate Overture so the mixture is thick. Roll into balls and then roll in slivers of fine white chocolate or crushed nuts.
- Heat and serve over poached pears, unbelievable.
- Drizzle over fresh strawberries, so good!
- For a different treat, use as the first layer of banana cream pie!
- Mix with marshmallow bits, chopped walnuts, and prepared whipped topping. Spoon into a tart shell or pre-baked pie shell for a rocky road delight.
- Pour over bananas then top with crushed nuts and whipped cream.
